  1. I have a son that would be a perfect candidate for your camp! He is very athletic and loves the game of football. I am positive you will be impressed. See you in July!

  2. Unfortunately, my grandson will not qualify for the combine but we would love to attend as spectators. Is that allowed?

    • Nancy, thank you for reaching out! We’d love to have you all attend as spectators! Spectating is free and welcomed! Players will take the field at 9am, and begin the first testing station at 9:35am. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

    • We are excited to have you & your son on-board! Thank you and we look forward to seeing you both in July!

  4. I am an High School athlete, I am wondering what the bench press test will be like for a 10th grader? Is it as many reps as possible at a set weight? What is that weight?

    • Hi Kole,
Thanks for the message. Here’s the bench press protocol:
Sophomores (Class of 2015): Will not be tested
Juniors & Seniors (Class of 2014, 2013): Players will choose 185 lbs or 225 lbs; players will complete as many full reps as possible.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
      Thanks!
      The Team @ Childress Sports

  6. Mr Childress, I am a coach and have a Class of 2013 player that I would like to attend. Will he be eligible to participate in May 2013?

  7. i am a 2014 high school WR/DB at flint hamady high school is it to late to apply for the combine and what schools are going to be attending?

    • Registration is open until the date of the event (May 10, 2013). You can register online now if you’d like to reserve your spot. We will have coaches from Division II, III & NAIA schools in attendance. Hope to see you there!

  8. Hey i’m coming of a injury from last season and don’t believe that i will be able to perform at a 100% for the march combine but i was wondering if the may one is the same thing ??? i’m super interested in exposing my self but i don’t want to come out in march and not preform 100% and look bad.. basically just wondering if the may one is the same thing or what it exactly is???

    • The combines are similar, but NCAA rules don’t allow college coaches to attend combines in March. College coaches are allowed to attend and will be attending the May 10th combine. Hope to see you in May. Best wishes for a complete recovery.

  9. What is the weight on the bench for freshman at the May 10th camp? Thanks for this awesome opportunity!!!

    • Hey Josh, we’re looking forward to having you at the camp! Freshmen aren’t required to do the bench press. We will have two benches set up, one at 185 lbs and one at 225 lbs. If you can’t lift either of the weights, that’s ok.

  10. We will be driving up on Friday and will sign up there. We have to wait to see if the Varsity Baseball game is cancelled due to rain before we can leave, we will maybe see you there.

    • None of the drills or tests are required. Players can participate in as many or as few drills/tests as they feel comfortable.
